We strive to keep our patients healthy and well informed. We believe in preventative care and we consider you to be an active partner in that care. We also consider your oral care to be an important part of your total health.
In keeping with this philosophy, we’ll take the time to explain what’s going on inside your mouth and to present you with options and information to make decisions. We encourage questions and we’re more than happy to explain anything and everything. We start each exam with blood pressure and oral cancer screenings and inquiries about your general health including current medications.
As a family dental practice, we can handle the needs for your entire family. Our services range from rebuilding teeth with the latest materials to root canals to basic gum care.
For those who find dental care stressful, we offer stress-reducing techniques, including nitrous oxide inhalation anesthesia. Nitrous – also called sweet air or laughing gas – reduces anxiety while you get the care you deserve.
Our goal is to keep your mouth healthy…and that means more than preventing cavities. We can help you have healthy gums that don’t bleed through our oral hygiene program, a better-looking smile through cosmetic dentistry (including whitening, bonding and veneers) and keep your kids’ teeth where they belong while involved in sporting events with mouth guards. We can assess snoring, headaches and sore jaws and teeth and discuss treatment options.
Of course, there are times when we will need to refer you to a specialist. When necessary, we have a wide network of expert specialists throughout the area, and we’ll work with you to help you choose the specialist that best meets not only your dental needs, but also your personal preferences.
Our goal is to make your visit as convenient as possible. We offer extended hours, including early mornings, evenings and Saturday hours
We are reachable 24 hours a day for any urgent matter. We have an electronic answering service at the office that is checked often and allows us to hear your message directly from you. Directions on paging the dentist directly for an immediate response are available.
Jockey Hollow Dentistry follows OSHA regulations to assure the cleanliness and sterility of our equipment. If you’ve heard news reports about dental care or are curious about how we keep our equipment safe for you, just ask.
We’ll be happy to discuss fees and payment arrangements with you before any work is started. We participate with Delta Dental and will file all insurance claims from any insurance company. For your convenience, cash, check Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Unless other arrangements are made in advance, we prefer payment at each visit.
